Dr. Lisa F. Rosenberg
Lisa Rosenberg is a faculty member of York University. She teaches courses in Women’s Studies and her research interest is focused on Judaism and Feminism. In our personal development centre, Dr. Rosenberg trains students and participants to build individual confidence in their academic development and endeavours at various levels.
Mr. Henry Wai
Henry is a certified NVC Trainer who has led public introductions, trainings and practice groups in England, Canada and the U.S. He has 12 years experience in training, facilitation, and adult education for social service, community, business, and spiritual groups. Henry's focus is on supporting individuals and groups to communicate effectively and compassionately with vitality. NVC is a practical process for communicating with empathy, honesty, assertiveness and compassion. Its tools can help individuals to deal with challenging situations at home, at work or in one's community effectively. Therefore, compassionate relationships can be built, conflicts can be solved and trust between people can be developed.
Ms. Tiffany Wong
Tiffany is an enthusiastic pilates and ftiness instructor in our centre. She is committed to raise people’s awareness of their personal health and wellness. Tiffany is knowledgeable in and capable of instructing different types of fitness programs but she has an unique interest and passion in teaching pilates to enrich people’s life and enhance their health through movement and wellness education. Pilates is a popular fitness program combining movements of yoga, gymnastic and Tai-chi. It emphasizes deep breathing, improves body flexibility, increases muscle strength, streamlines abdominal and pelvic muscles, as well as rectifies postures. This set of exercises helps to enhance a well balanced body fitness.
Mr. Andrew Chan
Andrew is an IT professional who has many years of experience in administration and computer system support. His focus is on serving clients and supporting individuals to effectively perform their duties and responsibilities. He is the Administrator of our personal development centre.
Ms. Woon-Chun Chan
Ms. Chan is currently an instructor in Hong Kong City University. Her academic credentials include MSW from York University, Master of Christianity Studies from Chinese Theology Institute, Education Diploma From Hong Kong University, and B.A. in Social Science from Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Chan immigrated to Canada in 1991, since then she had been working zealously in different social service organizations such as Central Toronto Youth Services, WoodGreen Community Centre, University Settlement Recreation Center, Tendercare Living Center, Hong Fook Mental Health Association, and Canadian Mental Health Association. In recent years, Ms. Chan often travels between Canada and Hong Kong, devoting herself to post-secondary education and communication training. |
